A bilingual website for the ADEWE association
ADEWE is a non-profit association working for development and access to healthcare among the Wè people of western Côte d'Ivoire. Exibify designed and built its French and English website, giving two ambitious health projects a clear public home.
The Project
About ADEWE
Founded in 2012 under French association law, ADEWE operates across France, Côte d'Ivoire and the United Kingdom. It carries two linked projects: the HIRSA inter-regional hospital in Pinhou, planned at 400 beds, and Wêbloa, a regional health mutual meant to help sustain it. Its name, in the Wè language, is a call to sit down, take a position and organise together.

The Brief
What the website needed to do
The website had to serve donors, members, partners and diaspora supporters across several countries, in two languages. It needed to explain two interdependent projects without confusion, introduce the Wè people and the association's governance, and keep calls to donate or join visible at every step. Credibility mattered too: legal status, offices, partners and action plans all had to be easy to find.
Our Approach
How we designed and built it
- 01
We put the projects first. The homepage opens with the shared vision, then separates the hospital and Wêbloa into their own pages, with an overview page explaining how the two depend on each other. Key figures, such as bed numbers and population served, sit beside the story so supporters grasp the scale quickly.

A French and English switcher appears in both header and footer, and French is the primary language. Association pages cover who the association is, the Wè people, the executive office and the 2021 to 2025 action plan, so visitors can understand who stands behind the work.

Engagement routes are always close at hand: a donate button in the header and footer, membership and partnership pages, news items, a photo gallery and contact details for each country. A newsletter sign-up and legal information in the footer complete the picture.
