A warm, stage-ready website for Primadonna Music
Primadonna Music offers singing and piano lessons for children aged six and up, taught by Mair Rees-Davies in London, the South East and online. Exibify designed and built a website with the warmth of a good teacher and the polish of a performance programme.

The Project
About Primadonna Music
Mair Rees-Davies has taught for 30 years, trained at the Royal College of Music and in Rome, and has sung in concert and oratorio internationally. Lessons are private and paced to each child, covering singing and piano in the studio at Dover and singing live online. Pupils work towards ABRSM and LCME exams, festivals and performances, with beginners welcome. Online lessons are open to children anywhere.

The Brief
What the website needed to do
Parents choosing a teacher want reassurance first: who is this person, how will my child be treated, and what happens at the first lesson. The site needed to answer those questions quickly, convey a calm and encouraging atmosphere, explain the three lesson formats, and make booking a trial feel easy. It also had to work for families overseas considering online lessons.
Our Approach
How we designed and built it

- 01
We led with a line from the teacher's philosophy, every voice deserves its moment, and followed it with a short meet-Mair story that puts her training and experience up front. Numbered editorial sections give the page the feel of a printed programme, with illustration and typography doing the work stock photography usually does.
- 02
The lessons section separates singing, piano and online singing, each marked for ages and beginners. A stage section shares pupil performances and results, framed with the school's principle that children perform when they are ready. A studio section describes the Dover room in a way that suggests a front room, not a classroom.
- 03
Booking is deliberately gentle. Book-a-trial buttons recur down the page and lead to the contact page, while the free 15-minute trial is explained in a short sequence. Reviews, FAQs and a newsletter sign-up round out the page. Fees and formats are explained on the lessons page.
