An eligibility-first website for Vision Green Energy
Vision Green Energy arranges government-funded energy upgrades for households through the ECO4 scheme. Exibify designed and built a website that explains who can apply, what is available and how to start.

The Project
About Vision Green Energy
Vision Green Energy Limited is a Wakefield-based company that helps lower-income households and those in fuel poverty access ECO4 funding. Its services cover air source heat pumps, solar PV, whole home insulation, boilers, storage heaters, first-time central heating, wall and loft insulation, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and EPC assessments. The company holds TrustMark and MCS credentials and guides customers from the first eligibility check through to installation. The site also lists a company registration number and Gas Safe, NAPIT and NICEIC badges, so the credentials behind the offer are visible.

The Brief
What the website needed to do
Funding schemes confuse people. The website had to explain ECO4 and LA Flex in everyday language, show which benefits and circumstances qualify, and make applying feel safe rather than too good to be true. Visitors are homeowners often arriving on a phone, so calling, messaging and applying all had to be one tap away. Trust marks and accreditation needed to sit near every decision point. Pages also had to load quickly and read well at small sizes, because the people who need this help most are rarely at a desktop.
Our Approach
How we designed and built it

- 01
We organised the homepage around a single question: can I get this for free? The hero states the offer plainly, followed by a short mission statement and a three-step path of checking eligibility, booking a free survey and having the work completed. Every step is written as an action the visitor can take today, with no jargon between them and the form.
- 02
Each of the eleven available measures has its own entry in the services menu, so someone searching for loft insulation or a heat pump lands on a page about exactly that. Eligibility criteria, including the LA Flex routes, are laid out in readable lists instead of dense legal wording. Each measure page repeats the same call to apply, so a visitor never has to hunt for the next step.
- 03
A green and white palette keeps the tone calm and credible. Certification badges sit beside the call to action, and an FAQ block answers cost, ownership and timescale before a visitor has to ask. Large buttons and generous spacing keep the pages comfortable to use on a phone.
