What the website needed to do

People arriving here are often anxious, sometimes after a long period of uncertainty about their own or their child's learning. The website needed to be warm and unhurried while still conveying professional standards. It had to explain four different assessment types without confusion, make the process feel approachable, and offer a low-pressure first step in the form of a free short consultation.

How we designed and built it

The Dyslexia Experts website on mobile
  1. 01

We gave the page a soft palette and generous spacing, with copy that speaks directly to individuals, parents and employers. The hero names the service, states who it is for and explains the remote and face-to-face options in two sentences, so geography is clear from the start.

  2. 02

Each of the four assessments has its own card and an Enquire now link, and a prompt for anyone unsure which path to choose leads to a free fifteen-minute consultation. A section on the learning journey describes what an assessment feels like and what the report contains. Separate pages cover dyslexia information, reasons to choose the service and a blog, and the contact form is short.

  3. 03

We kept the interface quiet and accessible, with clear contrast, uncluttered layouts and short paragraphs that suit readers who may themselves find dense text tiring. Opening hours, location and privacy information appear in the footer, and the Book Assessment button stays in the header so the next step is always available.
