Makkah Properties Ltd is an independent estate agency on Halliwell Road in Bolton. Exibify designed and built a website that lets buyers search, landlords and sellers request a valuation, and the agency's service standard come across clearly.
The Project
About Makkah Properties Ltd
Makkah buys, sells, lets and manages property across Bolton, Bury, Horwich, Westhoughton, Manchester and the wider North West, covering ten areas in all. It positions itself as a small, bespoke agency that deliberately takes fewer instructions, with in-house photography and marketing. Listings are shared on Rightmove and Zoopla, and the agency lists its Property Ombudsman and client money protection memberships.

The Brief
What the website needed to do
Local agencies compete with large portals, so the site needed to feel personal while still working like a proper property platform. It had to let buyers search by location, price, bedrooms and type, present the portfolio attractively, and give owners a low-friction way to ask for a valuation. It also needed to carry trust signals: memberships, company details, opening hours and clear contact routes.
Our Approach
How we designed and built it
- 01
The hero offers tabs for residential sales, residential lettings and commercial, above a search with location, price range, bedroom and property type filters. A portfolio below lets visitors switch between sale and let, and sort by newest, price or bedrooms. Each property card shows address, type, bedrooms, reception rooms and an offers-in-excess guide price.
- 02
Sellers and landlords are guided by a four-step free valuation form: purpose, property, detail and contact. The page explains what each route involves, from comparable sold evidence to a rental appraisal. Mortgage, stamp duty and rental yield calculators add useful tools for buyers and landlords.
- 03
A section called the Makkah Standard sets out the agency's approach, supported by a client testimonial, a team section and an FAQ on fees, timescales and areas. The footer carries opening hours, area links, memberships and registered company details. Everything is arranged so a visitor can move from browsing to asking in a few taps.
